A Stoneware cup, new batch iron oxide variation of my caramel glaze - it’s still a tenmoku interior glaze, a reddish brown. The exterior is a combination of tenmoku glaze and dolomite white glaze with tin oxide for richness and flow - but the iron oxide is different so the tin reacts in a richer, brighter way. Colours from brown, through orange and cream, but mostly cream. This is the first of these cups with more to come. It’s giving tin cup vibes.
Marks made during the throwing and turning are visible. Subtle finger prints created as part of the glazing process
